4 Link Kit

This is our universal 4 link kit, that can be used in many application with 2005+ superduty axles. Comes with frame bracket, 4 link bars and frame bracket overlay. Frame bracket is CNC cut out of 1/4 steel. 4 link bars are made from 2 inch DOM tube with 1/4 wall. Grade 8 hardware is included. You will reuse your factory radius arm bolts to mount the 4 link bars to the axle bushings.

-Heim joints are very strong chromoly joints and allow for pivot side to side if your frame is narrower than the axle mounting location. Heim joints are cheaper but allow for more vibration transfer to the frame. This is not too noticeable because of the bushing in the super duty dana 60 do soak up some of the vibration from the road but there is room for improvement. This is your strongest option if you are using this for an offroad rig and plan on abusing it and want to push the limits.

-Ballistic bushing have greasable poly bushing that will improve ride quality by adding a second bushing to the front suspension where it meets the frame. This will help absorb any vibrations from the road that transfer past the bushing in the axle. However these do not allow for side to side pivot so if your frame is narrower than the mounting location on the axle it will be a little bit of a challenge to align the bushings to the holes in the brackets. (we do use these in our superduty axle swaps on OBS fords. This is about the maximum difference between frame width and axle mounting width that you can use these bushings)

-Ballistic Joints / Johny Joints are a combination of both worlds. This has a poly bushing to absorb any vibrations from the road that transfer past the bushing in the axle while still allowing the bushing to pivot side to side. This will allow you to achieve maximum ride quality if your frame width is narrower than the superduty axle mounting locations. These are not as strong as the heim joint but are a great option for a daily driver or weekend warrior.
